Barbados Gooseberry produces a golden yellow or deep orange fruit that is tart and an excellent source of Vitamin A. The leaves are edible and delicious! Every Reid Farm salad we eat contains Barbados gooseberry leaves! The leaves are an excellent source of protein, iron, calcium, phosphorous and magnesium. In fact, the leaves are higher in these nutrients that spinach and lettuce!
